Potluck begins at 5:30 with a family-friendly movie, “Akeelah and the Bee,” at 6:00. “Akeelah and the Bee” is the story of an 11-year-old girl living in South Los Angeles who discovers she has a talent for spelling. She hopes her talent will take her to the National Spelling Bee. Her journey has challenges and supporters, too. Will her dream come true? Join us to find out!
