With a Yule story –“The First Song”

At the Solstice, we say good-bye to darkness and welcome the light. We welcome the hope and promise of life again. When the earth was new, what did the First Beings do at the longest night of the year when the Earth seemed to be asleep? Bring drums and noisemakers to help us “yule” to reach the distant Sun and wake the sleeping Earth. Bring finger food, if you are able, for our gathering afterwards. All are welcome. This is an even in which children can join in.
