During service and in our Religious Education program on Sunday, May 7, our congregation will be participating in a nationwide teach-in on white supremacy culture. The organizers want us to learn how to recognize racism. They are using the metaphor that white folks are like fish swimming in water that they don’t notice. Using innovative teaching methods that appreciates different learning styles, we’ll be putting a little dye in that water to help make it visible.
