Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance
Our service on Sunday November 21 will include a Community Announcement observing the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance. Each year we remember and mourn the tragic deaths of transgender people resulting from hatred, violence and willful ignorance, and this year there were a record number of these murders reported.

Albany UU is hosting an annual memorial service organized by In Our Own Voices on the traditional Day of Remembrance, November 20, from 6 to 7 PM and all Albany UUs are invited. Check out the Facebook Event for more information. Sign up here to attend the Nov 20 In Our Own Voices event.
