Join the Walker Book Group on Sunday, June 14 at 6:00 pm. This will be our third meeting using Zoom and will replace our usual potluck supper and discussion in Channing. Our Zoom meetings have resulted in lively discussions; we hope others will join us in June. Newcomers are always welcome.

We will discuss Olive, Again by Elizabeth Strout.  This sequel to Strout’s 2008 Pulitzer-prize winning novel, Olive Kittredge, continues the same format: interconnected short stories.  Some stories feature an aging Olive and others feature characters from Strout’s other novels. All stories are rewarding.

Because members are sheltering at home, the book group will not take our customary break in July and August. We will continue meeting via Zoom on the second Sunday of each month at 6:00 pm. We are seeking recommendations for books to read in the coming months.
