Join the Walker Book Group on Sunday, June 13 at 6:30 pm. If you would like time for additional socialization, please sign on to the Zoom link at 6:15. This will be our last meeting until September 12, when we hope to have a potluck supper and book discussion in Channing. Newcomers are always welcome.

In June, we will discuss The Refugees, a collection of short stories by Viet Thanh Nguyen, the Pulitzer-prize winning author of The Sympathizer.  The stories, set in Vietnam and California, tell the stories of refugees and their children. The Guardian reviewer praises Nguyen for breathing life into his many unforgettable characters.

Over the summer, we will read Walter Isaacson’s Leonardo da Vinci. We will select books for October and November in June.
