We will discuss our summer read, Walter Isaacson’s Leonardo da Vinci. In the absence of plentiful details about his life, this noted biography of the sixteenth-century scientist, innovator, engineer, and secret doctor focuses on exploring the 7,200 notebook pages he left.

We select books in advance so that readers have time to secure them from the library. In October, we will discuss the winner of the 2020 Pulitzer-prize for fiction, The Night Watchman by Louise Erdrich. In November, we will discuss Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet, a historical novel based on the brief life of Shakespeare’s son.
