Join the Walker Book Group for a welcoming potluck supper and lively book discussion on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 5:30 pm in Channing Hall. Newcomers are always welcome.

Bring a dish to share and a small contribution to cover beverages. Be responsible for cleanup if using Albany UU’s kitchen or be green and bring your own dish wear.

We will discuss the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, Less by Andrew Sean Greer. Less was selected for discussion in January, but the snow storm forced the cancelation of the meeting.  In this hilarious novel, a struggling novelist travels the world pursuing invitations to second-rate literary events to avoid the wedding of a former boyfriend. A review in the New York Times concluded that “Andrew Sean Greer’s ‘Less’ is excellent company. It’s no less than bedazzling, bewitching and be-wonderful.”

On March 10, we will discuss Behold the Dreamers by Imbulo Mbue and on April 14, The Fish who Ate the Whale by Rich Cohen.  We hope you will join us.
