When the weather improves, we will resume our in-person meetings, which include a potluck supper, with a zoom option. We will continue meeting via Zoom until then. Newcomers are always welcome.

We will discuss Our Country Friends by Gary Shteyngart. In the novel, seven friends and one nemesis gather on an estate in the Hudson Valley to wait out the pandemic. The New York Times reviewer writes that the novel is “rife with the problem of privilege, the profoundly leveling experience of the virus, and an ever-present sense of absurdity and humor.”
