Building Connections Auction 2026

Many thanks to those of you who donated to the 2026 auction. The auction site, HERE, is open for viewing and purchasing. But it ends soon, Sunday, May 24 at 11:45pm, so be sure to take advantage of it before then. The auction is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Not only is the auction an essential fundraiser, it is an important way to build community. The social events, dinners, garden walks, hikes, etc., give Albany UU members a chance to socialize and get to know each other better. Many UUs generously provide these amazing experiences and items that people buy. There are always a variety of interesting and affordable items available, so everyone can participate.
Raffle
To encourage first time participation in the auction, those who did not register on the auction site in previous years but registered this year by May 16 were automatically entered into a raffle drawing on May 17. Eighteen people were eligible for the drawing. Congratulations to the winner, Paul Fisk, who got to choose two places at one of three auction dinners! Note that each of the other two dinners, which had places held back in case it was chosen, now has available places and is listed among the Featured Items on the auction site.

Viewing and Buying Auction Items
To purchase items, you must have a 32auctions.com account. If you have registered on the 32auctions.com site in the past, you still have an account. On the 32auctions.com site, you will see a yellow banner asking you to log in now or create an account. If you are new to 32auctions.com, click on create an account and follow the directions. If you have registered with 32auctions.com in a previous auction, click on log in now. Enter your email address and your password. If you do not remember your password, click on Forgot Password and follow the directions for re-setting your password.
Paying for items: An invoice is generated when you buy your first item. Any additional items purchased are added to your invoice. There are two ways you can view your current invoice at any time:
(1) If you have a “Thank you for your purchase” email you have received this year from 32auctions.com, click the View Invoice button in the email. Or,
(2) Click on Account on the top menu, select My Items Won, and then click View Items. Note that if you have purchased items in previous auctions, there will be a View Items button for each one; be sure to select the one for our 2026 auction.
In either case, the My Items page that comes up will have a list of all items you purchased, your Invoice #, and your total Amount Due. Once you have finished buying, make your payment by sending a check for the final invoice amount, payable to Albany UU, to Albany UU, 405 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12206. Put the Invoice # on the memo line of your check. Please send your check no later than May 26. Remember, if you do online banking, you can have your bank send the check by adding Albany UU as a payee. (We are not using 32auctions payment options because of the additional cost.)
