The Building Connections Auction helps support the mission and programs of Albany UU while strengthening relationships across the congregation. Through shared meals, gatherings, experiences, and acts of service, the auction creates opportunities to connect, laugh, and build community.

Funds raised through the auction support the ongoing work of the church each year.

The most popular auction offerings are often opportunities for people to spend time together, learn something new, or enjoy an experience they might not otherwise have. Let your imagination be your guide. If hosting an event feels like too much on your own, consider partnering with a friend.

A Note About Physical Items

Because the Building Connections Auction focuses on experiences and community-building, paintings, antiques, and other objects often do better at in-person events such as the Bazaar or Silver Bay auctions, where participants can view them in person.

Creative ideas are always welcome. Your donation may provide someone with a new friendship, a memorable experience, or simply a chance to spend time with others in our community.
