As we explore Generosity this month, let’s reflect on how Albany UU can balance security and compassion as we contemplate how best to serve the houseless people seeking shelter under our eaves.  Buddhism tells us we must balance compassion with wisdom.  Christianity teaches a radical hospitality which honors “the inherent worth and dignity of every person.”   Through the lens of stories from both traditions, we’ll explore how best to live into these teachings.
