Our Albany UU Bylaws require us to have a congregational meeting to decide to call an Interim Minister.  The Board has approved this process and has set up a Search Committee to accomplish this task.  To be in compliance with the Bylaws and the will of the congregation, we need to have a vote.  This may be a very short meeting, long enough to inform the congregation of the very fast process that will be in process as we vote.
