Joy Library
Enjoy reading? Albany UU’s Joy Library offers many adult titles relating to the UU faith tradition, world religions, especially liberal theology and spirituality, and ethical and social justice issues.
Members and friends are eligible to borrow books on the honor system. Instructions for checkout and return are in the Library, which is located in the Stott Lounge on the second floor, next to the door to the balcony. The Library, named in honor of Charles Rhind Joy, is open except when Stott Lounge is in use for a scheduled meeting.
Two special library collections include the Ed Ryman Collection on Buddhism and Taoism and the Antiquarian Collection. To use the Antiquarian Collection, which is not in the catalog, please make an appointment with the Library Chair by emailing joylibrary@albanyuu.org.
