Signing this statement begins the process of becoming a member of our congregation. (Fields marked with an * are required.)
There is no test of faith or belief requirement to join our community. We simply require general agreement with our Congregational Covenant:

“As a congregation with respect for our past and commitment to the future, we draw from the depth and power of our hearts and minds, guided by our Unitarian Universalist principles, to serve our mission and vision. We celebrate the diversity of our identities and experiences, and foster a culture of appreciation, inspiration, and kindness.

We honor both the strength of the collective and uniqueness of the individual, willing to support and challenge each other with love and compassion. We entrust ourselves to each other in beloved community, to embolden personal and congregational growth and transformation.”

EXPECTATIONS OF MEMBERSHIP. Rather than creeds, we have expectations for membership. These expectations help facilitate the integration of a new member into our community. The expectations of membership are:
Participation on Sunday morning;
Involvement in and helping with our activities;
Financial support of the congregation.
Each expectation is flexible depending on each person’s ability to participate.

WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO TAKE THESE STEPS FIRST. Before joining we encourage each person to:
Attend our “Getting to Know UU” newcomers orientation;
Meet with our minister;
Meet with a representative of our stewardship team.

MAKE A PLEDGE OF SUPPORT. Members support the congregation by making a yearly commitment of support called a pledge, of what they can afford. Our budget year runs from July 1 to June 30. See Stewardship Campaign Pledge for more information.

SIGN OUR MEMBERSHIP BOOK. One officially becomes a member by signing our membership book. This is arranged between you and a member of the Membership Team or the Minister.
